Overview

What is a stadium feedback system?

A stadium feedback system captures how fans and visitors rate washrooms, concessions, gates and seating during an event - by area and by moment - and sends problems to the crew that can fix them before the crowd moves on.

Event days are short and intense. Thousands of people arrive in the same hour, use the same washrooms at halftime and leave together at full time. A problem that lasts twenty minutes can affect thousands of fans, and a post-event survey can only tell you about it afterwards. Live feedback, tagged to each concourse, stand and gate, gives operations a picture of the venue while there is still time to act.

It works the same way at arenas, convention centers and concert venues: short ratings where people already are, visitor counts where crowds build up, and alerts to the venue operator, caterer or cleaning provider that owns each area.

The Problem

The crowd decides in minutes - the survey hears about it days later

Fans judge a venue by its washrooms, queues and stewards as much as by the game or the show. Yet most venues learn about those moments from surveys, complaints and social posts after everyone has gone home.

A twenty-minute problem at halftime reaches thousands of fans.

By the time the survey arrives, the next event is already sold.

Why event-day feedback falls short

  • Post-event surveys arrive days later, when the crowd has gone home
  • Complaints peak in short burstsgates, halftime, full time - and staff hear about them too late
  • Washroom and concession problems aren't tied to a concourse, stand or time
  • Venue operators, caterers and cleaning providers each see only part of the picture
Fans rarely fill in a survey about a washroom. They tell their friends, or they don't come back.

In this example the north concourse washrooms drop at halftime while the rest of the venue holds steady - the moment a post-event average would hide. Comparing the same view event by event shows whether extra crews or a new cleaning round made a difference. Area names and figures are illustrative.

How It Works

From the concourse to the crew in minutes

Feedback is captured, tagged to the area and moment, and routed to the person who can fix it - while the event is still running.

  1. 1

Fan Rates on the Way Past

One tap at a terminal or a QR scan from the seat.

  2. 2

    Tagged to Area and Time

Each rating links to the concourse, stand or gate and the moment of the event.

  3. 3

    Traffic and Themes Added

People counters and AI-grouped comments show the cause.

  4. 4

    Crew Alerted, Fix Tracked

Action Hub opens a work order and alerts the right supervisor.

Example

One event, start to finish

What live feedback looks like on an ordinary match day - and what ends up in the next day's report.

  1. 18:45

    Gates open

Gate C ratings stay high while Gate A slips as bag checks back up. The security lead moves two stewards across.

  2. 19:52

Halftime rush hits the north concourse

The people counter at washroom N-112 passes its visitor threshold and two low ratings mention no paper towels. A work order goes to the cleaning supervisor.

  3. 20:01

    Crew on site

Supplies restocked before the second half starts. The fix and its time are recorded on the work order.

  4. 20:30

    Ratings recover

N-112 is back on target. Stand 4's queue complaints are flagged to the concessions manager for the next event.

  5. Next day

    Event report

Operations, concessions and cleaning each get their areas compared with the last event, plus the post-event survey results.

Every alert is tracked from the moment it fires to the moment it's closed. Inside the closed loop with Action Hub

Why PXP

Live event feedback vs. the post-event survey

Post-event surveys still have a place - but they can't send a cleaner to the north concourse at halftime.

FAQ

Stadium and venue feedback questions, answered

What venue operations, concessions and cleaning teams ask before a pilot.

How do you collect fan feedback during an event without slowing anyone down?

Touchless terminals at washroom exits, concession stands and gates take one tap or a hover on the way past. QR codes on seat rows and signs let fans rate from their seat. Nobody has to stop, download an app or log in.

Can feedback reach staff while the event is still running?

Yes. Low ratings, missing-supply reports and visitor thresholds open work orders and alert the right supervisor by SMS, email or WhatsApp within minutes, so a washroom or stand can be fixed before the next break in play.

How do people counters help on event days?

People counters at concourse washrooms and entrances count visitors as crowds move. A visitor threshold you set can send a cleaning crew before halftime, instead of after complaints start.

Can we compare one event with another?

Yes. Every rating is tagged to the event, area and time, so you can compare tonight with last week by concourse, stand or gate, and see whether a change made a difference.

Who runs feedback at a venue - the operator or the caterer?

Either, or both. Venue operations, concessions and cleaning providers can each see their own areas, while the operator sees the whole venue on one dashboard.
